CFBS has been in operation more than 26 years. We were one of the first bilingual stations in Quebec and broadcast 60 hours each week, time split between the 4 current employees. We also just hired our first journalist.

In the past 3 years, the equipment, the building and furnishings and even the staff has been upgraded. Financing comes from a provincial grant, weekly bingos and advertising.

CFBS-FM has full support from the communities we serve, with almost 500 members.
